Pantone colour of the year 2016 has been announced – or should I say colours – in a break from tradition, Pantone have given us two shades rather than just the one, and they’re perfect for weddings – Rose Quartz and Serenity – a lovely pink and soft powdery blue.
So, where to start – bridesmaid dresses and florals are the obvious choice for injecting these shades, but if you’re a little more untraditional in your tastes why not go for a rose quartz gown? I styled a wedding shoot with this colour palette in mind a few months ago – this Olivia Palermo inspired gown by Amy at Bo Boutique is a fabulously romantic yet fresh take on the more relaxed bridal look. Bowtie and Belle Photography captured it all beautifully.
These cakes by Marie Green bring that same modern yet romantic touch.
And who can resist some super luxe vintage furniture hire like these gorgeous chairs and sofa from Cotswolds Vintage Party Hire.
