A Beautiful Edit
I had been mentoring and coaching Sarah, founder of A Beautiful Edit (formerly Poppy in Pearls) for a short while before we identified that really her core passions and style had moved on since her initial creation of her business. Following an in depth assessment of her shop, what she wanted to create and what her core message was, Laura and I set about creating a new brand identity based on this new imagining of her offering.
Knowing Sarah’s business very well by this point, I set about creating a new brand board for her that reflected her customer base perfectly – brides who wanted modern but beautifully handmade, artisan British products for their wedding day. Key to her branding was not only a statement logo and colour palette, but also an attractive pattern that could be used on her shop’s packaging.

I came to Kate and Laura as I needed to elevate my branding to align better with my ideal client. Working with Kate it quickly became clear she understood my business. She helped me really define my ideal client and lay the foundations for the rebrand.
She introduced me to a colour palette I wouldn’t have been brave enough to consider if I’d tried to do this work myself. Laura nailed my logo in her first draft. Totally understanding the aesthetics I was striving for. The joy and excitement I felt when I saw my brand board is a feeling I’ll never forget.Working with Laura and Kate was a really great experience They understood me and what I am trying to achieve with A Beautiful Edit. I’m so excited about my autumn relaunch and getting all our hard work out there!
