Changing seasons
Project Description
Inspired by the changing of seasons, I worked with the wonderful Tammy at Wild Bunch to capture this wedding inspiration focused on natural simplicity. The beautiful botanical installation we created together over two days was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.
I have always been inspired by the changing seasons, none more so than by the quintessentially English Cotswolds landscape I am fortunate enough to live in. Rather than focusing on a single season or point in time we wanted to capture the changing seasons – the advent of Spring and the wonderful combination of winter seed heads mixed with the fresh greens of new life. The hanging flowers presenting a botanical veil through which we can imagine a life before marriage and the new life that awaits. All the elements focussed on natural simplicity – the beauty of that which comes from the earth, with handmade wood, metallic, ceramic and fabrics that are all reminiscent of a life lived in harmony with nature and evocative of centuries past.
