Garden Frames Photography Workshop

£45.00

A gentle, practical workshop for anyone who wants to photograph gardens with more intention, and come home with images that feel like something. Small stories of petals, shape, and light.

Over 2.5 hours at the Bramble and Wild garden and shop, we will slow down and learn how to see. You will be shown simple ways to choose your subject, build a clean composition, and use natural light to bring depth and mood into your photographs. We will cover camera choices and lenses in plain English, focus and exposure basics, and how to make creative decisions in camera so you do not need to rely on heavy editing later.

This workshop runs twice:
Friday 6 June, 10:00am to 12:30pm
Friday 5 September, 10:00am to 12:30pm

After the workshop, you will receive a free copy of my Garden Photography ebook to help you continue your garden photography journey.

Perfect for: beginners and improvers, DSLR or mirrorless users, and anyone photographing gardens for pleasure, content, or their small business.

What you will learn:

  • How to choose lenses and simple kit that suits garden photography

  • How to find your subject in busy borders and make it feel intentional

  • Composition that guides the eye, without feeling rigid

  • The exposure triangle made usable, plus settings you can trust

  • Focus choices for flowers, foliage, and layered garden scenes

  • Using light, shade, and background to shape your signature look

  • How to make images that feel like you

What to bring: your camera, one lens is fine (but bring more if you want to), a fully charged battery, empty memory card.

If you are buying more than one ticket please add in the full names and email addresses of the other attendees in the ‘Additional Information’ box at checkout.

Location: Bramble & Wild, The Walled Garden, Jordans Courtyard, Horton Cross, Ilminster TA19 9PY

Please note your email confirmation serves as your ticket - please show on arrival.
